Bridge bearings and pads we manufacture
Laminated elastomeric bearings, plain neoprene pads, sole and masonry plates, diaphragm guides and custom molded assemblies. For more than two decades, we have supplied bridge contractors, distributors and state transportation agencies throughout the United States.
Inside a laminated bearing
Drag to turn it. Slide to pull the layers apart. Hover any layer to see what it is.

Laminated elastomeric bearings
Internal steel plates vulcanize-bonded to alternating layers of elastomer during the molding cycle, built to AASHTO and DOT specifications. The shims stop the rubber from bulging under load, so the bearing is stiff vertically and flexible horizontally.
- Neoprene or natural rubber
- Shim count and thickness to your design
- Compression tested, every unit
- Any plan size the drawing calls for

Plain rubber pads
Unreinforced bearing pads for lighter spans, precast work and anywhere a simple compressible seat is what the detail calls for. We cut them from sheet stock to the size you need.
- Sheet stock cut to size
- Standard and nonstandard durometers
- Short lead times on repeat sizes
- Neoprene or natural rubber

Custom molded shapes
Round, tapered, skewed, beveled. Our laminated assemblies can be molded to any shape or size a drawing asks for. If the geometry does not exist yet, our engineers will draw it with you.
- Tapered bearings for grade
- Skewed plan geometry
- Round and irregular shapes
- Shop drawings prepared in house

Steel bearing assemblies
Sole plates, masonry plates and fabricated assemblies for highway and bridge work, all cut, machined, welded, blasted and painted in the same building as the bearings they bolt to.
- Certified welders, tested on a schedule
- Prime, paint and blast in house
- Machined to drawing tolerance
Diaphragm guides
Precision-fabricated diaphragm guides built to project specifications. They’re machined, welded and finished alongside the bearings and plates they work with, so the whole assembly comes from one shop on one PO.
- Fabricated to project specification
- Machined to drawing tolerance
- Welded by certified welders
- Finished and painted in house
